Seeking to Join The Chaos? Please Read

Greetings,
This board was set up for players with characters on (or moving to) the World of Warcraft realm of Proudmoore (US) to intoduce themselves and to express an interest in joining The Chaos guild, an Australian based guild.

It may take some time for your application to join to be considered, your post will be the main point of contact during the application process. However, contact will occur in game to coordinate parts of the application.

Applicants will be taken on a trial instance (5 player) run once the guild is satisfied with the application. This is to see how you would fit within the guild and, where applicable, the raid group. You will be notified in the thread and asked to contact the officer coordinating the run in game to sort out a time, this will be your responsibility to achieve, so don't hesitate to make frequent contact.

Hello everyone,

My name is Gav and I have recently returned to world of warcraft after several recent breaks and a year away from the game. When I was playing last it was under my characters Midgar and Kujata and joining Sephira in their attempts to conquer AQ40/AQ20/BWL/ZG/MC. I also frequently was playing 5 man content with its members. Before I had a large break from the game I gave my old account away to a close friend and have since started a fresh.

Which guilds have you been a member of in the past?
I was an early member of Elavion and have been with them for some time recently there has been a large split in the guild and I am now looking for other options.

How did you hear about The Chaos, is there a reason in particular you came to us?
Ever since Sephira's days of raiding MC I have known about the Chaos as they were part of the alliance. Doing these raids and plenty of 5 mans with the Chaos has given me the impression that this is a guild environment I would enjoy.

What can you bring to The Chaos?
I am a relaxed player that enjoys helping others out and small group content. I'd like to think I am good at what I do and used to prove this back in my raiding days.

What are you looking for from The Chaos?
A guild that I can jump on and do a few instances, have a laugh and enjoy playing with.

My name is Adam and I've recently started playing WoW again after quitting just before the release of the expansion. I leveled my previous main somewhat after the release but decided I would wait a while longer before "plugging back in" as it were. My application below should explain my situation and why I do not bring a higher leveled character with me, but I hope you consider me nonetheless. As a note, I will be leveling EXTREMELY quickly and hope to join guild run activities as soon as possible and as spaces permit.

Which guilds have you been a member of in the past?

I was a member of the guild ELAVION and also a high ranking member of the Sephira raiding alliance where I was one of the original mages. I had two endgame characters with whom I raided, a 60 mage named Kalm and a 60 rogue named Jassaray. I play neither of those characters anymore and am looking for a clean start with Psychotropia.

How did you hear about The Chaos, is there a reason in particular you came to us?

Many of the Sephira alliance were (and I presume still are) members of "The Chaos". I understand it to be a fair and mature minded guild and that's exactly what i'm looking for in my new playing experience after a lengthy break.

Is there anyone in The Chaos who has agreed to vouch for you? If so, who?

I raided closely with Jaziah as part of Sephira as well as Xadap and others who joined Sephira. However I beleive it is Jaziah who knows me the best and can vouch for my playing skill and personal character

What can you bring to The Chaos?

I prize teamwork, honesty and fun over all in this game and that's what I can bring. I'm also a very competent player and am looking forward to getting back into regular 5, 10, 20 man content as well as PvP

What are you looking for from The Chaos?

A group of people who I can enjoy spending my online time with. I love helping out guild mates when I can and the best parts of my game time before were not huge raids, but doing the occasional fun 5 man content with people from the guild or Sephira.

Which parts of WoW do you enjoy most or spend most of your time doing (i.e. PvP, Arena, Raiding, Small Group or Solo Content, etc)?

I tend to enjoy smaller group content but I will admit that I love the rush of raid content! I'm looking to dabble in some PvP too this time around because I barely touched it before. But it will all depend on the opportunities available to me once I reach 70.
